UNITED BY CHRIST ! Welcome on the website of the gathering “united by Christ” that will occur

on 2-3 april 2011 in NAMUR EXPO (Belgium)

This  gathering  will be lived in the unity between Christians of various denominations, languages and cultures.

 " In Jesus, there is neither Jews, nor Greek, nor men, nor women, nor slaves, nor free men " says Saint Paul (Gal 3,28). 

It is the Christ who unites us and allows us to grow rich of our differences which we do not want to deny , but on the contrary to respect and to love, this is it the real unity.

Four speakers of different christian denomations were choosen because in spite of many difficulties, they were called out by Christ to work for unity among Christians.

“I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony, that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one –  I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me."(John 17, 20-23)

The bischopconference gave his agreement to let this gathering take place .

" Unity in Belgium is possible! " That is what we believe in, because if the King of Kings unites us, Dutch and French  as well as German speakers, we shall really live the vocation of Belgium which is to be a country of several cultures.

Various information can be found on the site in French, Dutch, English and German and the gathering will be translated in all those languages.

The main purpose of this register for the gathering  ; this is made under the section REGISTRATION

We ask you to join only if you are sure  to come because places are limited and the speakers are  very known.  So, many participants will come from France, Switzerland, The Netherlands and also from United States for this meeting.

Please carry this meeting in your prayer so that it will bear a lot of fruits !!!
